Crigler, who works part-time as a race official at major events around the country, has rendered three iconic teams, cars and drivers to indicate the synthesis between the past and the future that the 100th Running represents. She removes the typical track setting to focus on the car-driver combination, set against a brightly colored background, to express her belief that the future of racing depends on maintaining a diversity of teams, drivers and vehicles.
