Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
The Arts Council of Indianapolis and the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards have partnered to present a selection of works representing 11 different middle and high schools and one home school program from across central and southern Indiana as part of the Scholastic Regional Tour. All 23 students featured in the airport exhibition are either Gold or Silver Key winners in the 2017 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
This exhibit contains a range of media including color photography, a charcoal and graphite portrait, oil on canvas paintings, and a wooden sculpture. Artwork in categories such as digital art, mixed media, drawing and illustrations, and ceramics also will be displayed. Passengers can view artwork from the Scholastic Awards Regional Tour in the Ticket Hall from March 12 through July 15.
