To access the airport from south of Indianapolis:
(From Louisville, New Albany and Seymour areas)
- Go north on I-65 North
- Merge onto I-465 West/I-74 West via exit 106
- Take I-70 West toward St. Louis and merge onto I-70 West
- Take exit 68 toward Indianapolis International Airport and merge onto Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive
- Follow the appropriate signs for departures or arrivals (right lane) or parking (left lane)
(From Bloomington, Vincennes and Evansville areas)
- Go north on IN-37 North
- Merge onto IN-39 toward IN-67/Martinsville
- Turn left onto IN-39
- Turn slight right and onto IN-39/IN-67 North and continue to follow IN-67 North
- Turn left onto Ameriplex Parkway
- Turn right to enter I-70 East
- Follow the signs for Indianapolis International Airport immediately to your left and merge onto Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive

- Go south on I-69 South
